Start With Planning

By in Tips&Tricks,

Start every entry with a brief outline of what you intend to cover.

It can be a short roadmap, a list of points to write about, or just a stream of consciousness that will later be elaborated into an easy-to-read piece of text. It does not matter what form you will choose as long as it provides you with a sufficient number of points for a good start.

A well-structured plan allows you to jump between topics without waiting for what you will write in Chapter Seven in order to proceed with Chapter Four. Don’t forget to include prompts that will help you whenever you get stuck.

A right combination of all this will help you stay focused on the goals you’ve set for this particular piece of writing.

As you might guess, Write!’s note-taking mode and the Ctrl+` shortcut are a good match for keeping your planning effective.
